The largest active blaze, the Cottonwood Fire, has burned over 92,000 acres east of Beaver, Utah, in the Fishlake National Forest.
It remained at 0% containment as of Saturday morning, June 27, 2026.
Evacuations remain in place for the blaze, which officials believe is likely the most destructive and costly fire on record in Utah.
A total of 873 personnel are currently battling the blaze under warnings to remain alert to unpredictable conditions.
Emergency management spokesperson Alyssa Mason addressed the volatile fire behavior affecting crews on the ground.

"We always have safety first out there, and as soon as we see things or we start getting feelings, we've told the guys they don't like it, disengage, get to a safe place," she said.
The fire has destroyed numerous family cabins in the Beaver Mountain community and caused severe damage at the Eagle Point Ski Resort.
Resort owner Shane Gadbaw confirmed that several buildings were damaged or destroyed and announced the resort will remain closed during recovery.
"We are thankful that to our knowledge, there have been no human casualties from the fire," said Gadbaw.
Local residents gathered in Piute County on Friday to receive emergency updates as the fire advanced closer to the valley.
First responder Nick Schenk provided an emotional report regarding the early stages of the firefighting efforts that began on Monday.
"We did everything we absolutely could. We called for every bit of help we could find.
