In response to public scrutiny regarding her high-profile social media presence, Bouchard addressed the realities of modern celebrity culture during an interview with the Telegraph in 2019.

"I think everyone cares what people think about them so saying: 'I don't care about them at all' would be a lie," said Bouchard.

The sports personality noted that public engagement, whether positive or negative, reflects a high level of cultural impact.

"Obviously I do care just like everybody else would.

I also try to take it as a compliment because it means you've done something, stood up for something, created enough emotion for them to engage with you."

Bouchard compared her experience to other prominent global figures who face constant public evaluation. "Who are the most famous people in the world?

They have the most haters in the world. Kim Kardashian, Donald Trump.

It's part of life now so we have to accept it.

You have to distance yourself from it and not take it too personally, and also realise that most of them would want to be in your spot."

Several active tennis competitors have also expressed logistical concerns regarding the rising temperatures in London.

American player Tommy Paul opted to rent portable cooling units for his tournament accommodation to ensure proper recovery between matches.

Similarly, world No. 4 Jessica Pegula has designated climate control systems as her primary accommodation requirement when traveling to the tournament.

Pegula noted that upper-floor apartments become notably hot, creating challenges for player recuperation during the competition.
