She became unwell in July," her father said, adding that the contract was "strung out most of the summer."
He noted the financial compensation was lower than the previous year, causing her to lose enthusiasm for her career.
"She was anxious, worried how she was going to combine the two roles. The money was less.
She just lost her joie de vivre," he said.

The court heard that Sheffield United did not provide psychotherapy or mental health support, and Ms. Cusack feared facing professional repercussions if she sought help.
"She's got to give up something. We thought she was depressed, not suicidal," David Cusack said.
Her father stated she had been prescribed medication and given a medical sick note but worried about being judged by the organization.
"It wouldn't be the first time an organisation stigmatised someone not well enough to work," he said.
Family Seeks Accountability
David Cusack recounted discovering his daughter upstairs in their family home and attempting resuscitation before emergency services arrived.
"After she passed away, we wanted those we think are responsible to be held responsible. The man in the firing line was Mr Morgan," he said.
He described his daughter's diverse athletic talents and her ultimate devotion to football, saying "football was her passion."
Sheffield United conducted an internal investigation that concluded in December 2023, finding no evidence of wrongdoing by the club or its staff.
The Football Association launched an independent inquiry in January 2024 to determine if regulatory action is necessary.
The completed FA report was delivered to the coroner in January 2025, but its contents will remain private until the conclusion of the ongoing inquest.
Mr. Morgan was dismissed by Sheffield United in February 2024 due to an unrelated matter regarding a past relationship with a player during his tenure at Leicester City.
The Maddy Cusack Foundation, established by her family, previously stated that the player's spirit had been broken by the sport.
The family said in September 2024 they remain "steadfastly committed and determined to attain justice for Maddy."
