The Edmonton Oilers announced Monday that three women's hockey players have been invited to participate in the club's 2026 Development Camp.
The camp runs from Tuesday, June 30 to Thursday, July 2 at Rogers Place.

Forwards Abbey Murphy and Chloe Primerano from the University of Minnesota, along with defenceman Caitlin Kraemer from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, will join 14 forwards, eight defencemen, and five goaltenders for the event.
The 27-person roster includes five newly selected prospects from the 2026 NHL Draft: second-round pick Rudolfs Berzkalns, third-round pick Malcom Gästrin, and late-round selections Andrew Robinson, Caden Harvey, and Ryan Cameron.
Notable Invitees
Murphy was the second overall pick of the PWHL's Seattle Torrent and an Olympic gold medalist. Kraemer previously earned NCAA Rookie of the Year honors.

Primerano, an 18-year-old defender, secured a silver medal with Canada at the 2025 World Championships.
She has a history of playing in male leagues and was the first female skater drafted into the CHL by the Vancouver Giants.
Renata Fast of the Senior National Team praised Primerano's skillset, saying, "She has a skillset that we don't have on our D corps."

Other notable roster inclusions include veteran prospect Beau Akey on defense, along with free-agent additions Owen Michaels, Brady Stonehouse, Damien Carfagna, Tomas Cibulka, and goaltender Connor Ungar.
