The Toronto Raptors have secured guard Alijah Martin with a two-year, $4.8 million contract extension, the team announced Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
The deal keeps the 24-year-old in Toronto after he was selected as the 39th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

ESPN's Shams Charania first reported the agreement. Sportsnet's Blake Murphy added that the second year of the contract is partially guaranteed.
Rookie Season and G League Success
Martin made his NBA debut on December 7, 2025, and appeared in 23 games for the Raptors during his rookie campaign.
He averaged 2.2 points, 0.9 rebounds, and 0.5 assists in 6.3 minutes per game.
He also spent significant time with the Raptors 905, Toronto's G League affiliate, where he played 30 games.

Martin averaged 18.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per contest.
He shot 39.2 percent from three-point range during his G League stint.
His performance earned him selections to the All-NBA G League Rookie Team, All-NBA G League Defensive Team, and All-NBA G League Third Team.

Martin previously won a collegiate national championship with the University of Florida.
