Following the match, Cobolli gathered approximately 15 Wimbledon tournament towels directly from the court area, drawing attention from spectators and officials.

Wimbledon organizers previously changed rules to allow players to keep these towels, which retail for around 50 euros each, after past incidents where players took them from locker rooms.

During his post-match on-court interview, Cobolli was asked whether the collected items were intended for fans in the stadium.

"De handdoeken zijn voor mijn team," he responded, indicating the towels were for his team.
