When questioned further on the extent of the rumored dialogue between McLaren and Verstappen's representatives, Brown clarified that no progress was made.

"[He is a] four-time world champion, but very happy with our driver line-up," added Brown.

He firmly answered in the affirmative when asked to confirm that a move for the Dutchman would not occur in the near future.

"They didn't go anywhere. I've got my two drivers, so there's nothing to report," countered Brown.

Brown outlined that he had not evaluated what advantages McLaren could provide over Red Bull due to the lack of an available position.

"Correct," answered Brown.

He expressed that McLaren offers a highly favorable professional environment alongside other top-tier organizations in the sport.

"I haven't really thought about that because I've got two drivers in the seats," explained Brown.

He expanded on the overall strength and appeal of the team infrastructure for any Formula 1 professional.

"So what I couldn't offer him was a seat in my race car," stated Brown.

He emphasized that the unique workspace at McLaren extends beyond the drivers to all team personnel.

"But I think McLaren's an awesome team. So is Red Bull and so is Alpine and so is Ferrari.

The Formula 1 teams are amazing," noted Brown.

Meanwhile, Verstappen did not deny that his management team held talks, but he declined to clarify his future destinations amid frustrations over Red Bull's technical performance.
