“It’s going to be a difficult game, but I think Morocco will win,” Moukhabir said.

Moukhabir emphasized his belief in the team's momentum, adding, “Nothing will stop us to the final.”

He noted that Moroccan players view their French counterparts as equals due to shared experiences in elite European club football.

“I don’t think that Hakimi feels inferior to Mbappé,” Moukhabir said. He observed that growing up and competing alongside French athletes gives the squad confidence.

French forward Kylian Mbappe, who has scored seven goals in five matches at this tournament, previously commented on facing his Paris Saint-Germain teammate Achraf Hakimi.

“It will break my heart a little bit, but you know, that is football. I have to kill him,” Mbappe said.

IT consultant Mohamed Elbaz, who lives in Melrose, indicated he is now fully backing Morocco following the elimination of the United States national team.

“It’s Morocco’s turn. Last time, we came close,” Elbaz said.

Elbaz stated that since France won the previous encounter, Morocco should claim the victory this time.

“Since they won it last time, I think we should win it this time,” he said.

According to team updates, France may miss midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni due to an adductor injury.
