A spokesperson for Haveli declined to comment, stating the incident did not take place on its premises.
Local MP Urges Caution
Pontypridd MP Alex Davies-Jones said she is in close contact with South Wales Police and urged the public not to share unverified speculation online.
“I am aware of the serious incident that took place in Talbot Green overnight and understand the concern this will have caused across our community,” Davies-Jones said.
She thanked emergency responders for their swift response and ongoing work.
“At this early stage, I would urge everyone to avoid sharing speculation or unverified information on social media.
Misinformation can cause unnecessary distress to those involved and may hinder the police investigation,” she added.
