Poco C81 Series Debut Date Announced with Battery Details
Poco has set April 23 as the official debut date for its upcoming entry-level smartphones, the C81 and C81X, targeting the budget segment in India.
Both models will be available through Flipkart shortly after launch, marking the next step in Poco’s expansion of its affordable lineup.
Successor Arrives with Battery Focus
The Poco C81 follows last year’s C71, continuing the brand’s focus on battery-heavy devices in the lower price tier.
Teaser details indicate the C81 will feature a 6,300mAh battery, paired with 15W wired charging. It also introduces 7.5W reverse wired charging, allowing the device to power other gadgets.
Basic Camera Setup Confirmed
On the imaging side, the C81 is equipped with a 13MP main rear camera, keeping the setup simple and aligned with its budget positioning.
C81X Brings Slightly Smaller Battery
The Poco C81X, launching alongside the standard model, is confirmed to carry a 5,200mAh battery. Early visuals suggest it will feature a single rear camera module.
Further specifications for both devices are expected to surface in the days leading up to the launch event.
