New York Yankees center fielder Trent Grisham exited Wednesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays after an apparent leg injury.
The injury occurred during his first at-bat in the second inning.

Grisham hit a bloop double that landed safely between Blue Jays left fielder Yohendrick Piñango and third baseman Kazuma Okamoto.
While running to second base, Grisham appeared to move gingerly and checked his left knee after sliding into the bag, according to MLB.
com.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone spoke with Grisham at the end of the inning. The outfielder remained on defense for two more innings before being replaced.

Spencer Jones took over in center field to start the top of the fifth inning.
CBS Sports reports that Jones is considered the favorite to start in center field if Grisham misses additional time.
