In response, the governing body filed a notice of appeal to challenge the injunction, while individual institutions began issuing strict directives to isolate Texas Tech from future athletic schedules.

"Based on recent developments, Georgia Athletics will not schedule future contests against Texas Tech until further notice," wrote Will Lawler, Georgia compliance director.

Georgia athletic director Josh Brooks called for unified action among Football Bowl Subdivision programs to ensure uniform competitive standards.

"All FBS schools should only take the field against programs operating under a uniform, trustworthy standard of fairness," Brooks said.

Texas Tech booster Cody Campbell defended the university's support of the ineligible quarterback, characterizing the litigation as a necessary maneuver within a flawed collegiate sports landscape.

"This unfortunate situation is the outcome of a broken system," Campbell said.

The scheduling fallout reached the Big Ten, where Nebraska deputy athletic director Haven Fields issued a directive prohibiting all future athletic contests against the Red Raiders.

Texas Longhorns head football coach Steve Sarkisian expressed public frustration regarding the growing trend of universities utilizing the court system to bypass institutional rules.

"We all, as institutions, signed up to be part of the NCAA, and then we pass the rules that are put in place," Sarkisian noted on Always College Football.

Anger over the injunction extended into the Big 12 conference, where administrators voiced intense frustration regarding the lack of disciplinary parity across collegiate sports.

"It’s f****** bulls***," Kansas State athletics director Gene Taylor told Yahoo Sports.

Taylor emphasized that while the athlete requires rehabilitation for his gambling problem, allowing him to play contradicts standard enforcement protocols applied to other student-athletes.
