Rangers have reached an agreement to appoint Hearts head coach Derek McInnes as their new manager, following the departure of Danny Rohl.
The deal was finalized on June 14, 2026.

Rohl is set to leave Ibrox to take over at Austrian club RB Salzburg.
McInnes will move from Tynecastle to Glasgow after agreeing to a deal in principle, according to Sky Sports.
Contract and Compensation Details
The incoming head coach is expected to sign a three-year contract once final details are completed, as reported by The Herald.
Rangers chairman Andrew Cavenagh has agreed to pay a substantial six-figure compensation package to Hearts to release McInnes from his current contract, per the Scottish Sun.

The managerial shakeup comes amid other transfer movements in European and Scottish football.
Celtic is reportedly set to secure a relatively cheap transfer for 24-year-old striker Elias Filet from Swiss second-tier club FC Aarau, who has one year remaining on his contract, according to Football Insider.
Meanwhile, former Rangers manager Russell Martin is scheduled to return to management.
