A blockbuster trade sending Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat on Monday night reshuffled the order of Tuesday's 2026 NBA Draft, directly impacting the projection for Alabama guard Labaron Philon Jr.
The Milwaukee Bucks received Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, and multiple draft assets, including the No. 13 pick, which analysts now project could be used to select Philon in Brooklyn.

Prior to the trade, mock drafts from various outlets linked Philon to multiple teams, including the Philadelphia 76ers at No. 22 and the Miami Heat at No. 13, while previous projections favored the Detroit Pistons or Chicago Bulls.
Philon, a 6-foot-3 sophomore third-team AP All-American, averaged 22.0 points and 5.0 assists per game this season while shooting 50.1 percent from the field and 39.9 percent from beyond the three-point arc.

USA Today previously linked the guard to the Philadelphia 76ers, noting his resilience and efficiency during the collegiate postseason tournament.
"Even though the All-SEC guard was not playing at 100 percent during March Madness due to injury issues, he played well in the tournament, recording 35 points during a loss against Michigan," wrote Bryan Kalbrosky, USA Today reporter.
