The Toronto Raptors selected Arizona Wildcats point guard Jaden Bradley with the 50th overall pick in the second round of the NBA draft on Wednesday in New York.
Bradley, a senior who transferred from Alabama, was named the Big 12 Tournament most outstanding player and a finalist for the Bob Cousy Award.

He joins recent second-round acquisitions Jamal Shead and Alijah Martin as highly competitive guard additions for the organization, according to a report by the Toronto Sun.
"Blessed to be in this organization. They’ve got a great roster.
Can’t wait to hit the ground running and add what I can add," Bradley said.
The Rochester, New York native worked out for Toronto before the draft and plans to focus on his defensive presence, playmaking, and shooting development.
"Defensive presence, a point guard, just setting my teammates up. Score if I need to score.
Definitely shooting is going to be a big key," he added.

Raptors assistant general manager Dan Tolzman noted Bradley's significant experience, including a Final Four appearance with Arizona during a 32-3 season.
"A very accomplished player coming into the NBA. He’s seen it all.
A bit of a seasoned veteran as a rookie and we’ve had a lot of success with those guys in the past," Tolzman said.
The franchise has historically used second-round picks on notable contributors such as Matt Bonner, P. J.
Tucker, Norman Powell, and current backup guard Jamal Shead.
