She described the persistent anxiety of knowing her performance mistakes would be immediately posted online after games.
"The pressure of going to a game and knowing seconds later, as soon as the game ends, you’re going to see lots of videos of you, it’s constant pressure.
If I mess up, it’s going to be online. All that really adds up," said Weaver.
Weaver later reiterated that her final decision was rooted in an overwhelming feeling of internal peace.
"There’s a lot of people that speculate that this wasn’t necessarily my decision, like other outside things were pulling me," said Weaver.
She confirmed she spent months evaluating the choice before finalizing it.
"I’m gonna continue to dance, watch me," said Weaver.
Weaver revealed her ultimate career aspiration includes performing on a legendary theatrical stage.
"One of my dreams has been to be on Broadway.
I don’t know if that’s ever going to actually happen, but I would love to at least go back to the kind of dancing I grew up with," said Weaver.
She also noted that corporate interest has surged following her appearance on the docuseries.
"So many brands and organisations have reached out," said Weaver.
She looks forward to utilizing her newly available schedule for upcoming commercial endeavors.
"Really excited to be a little more available for some really cool projects," said Weaver.
Finglass stated she was not caught off guard by the announcement, viewing it as a timely decision for the dancer.
