The Detroit Red Wings selected center Adam Levac in the fourth round as the 108th overall pick of the NHL Entry Draft at KeyBank Center in Buffalo on Saturday.
Levac, who turned 18 on the day of his selection, adds physical grit to the Red Wings' prospect system.

During the 2023-24 season with the Ontario Hockey League's Peterborough Petes, Levac recorded 16 goals and 44 points in 60 games.
The right-handed shooter also contributed two goals and four points in a six-game postseason run that ended in a first-round playoff defeat.
NHL Central Scouting ranked Levac 97th among North American skaters in its final rankings.
His previous season included an eight-game suspension for a slew-footing incident on January 30, as well as a fight during the OHL top prospects game.

Before the draft, Levac expressed his anticipation. "It's something you dream about as a kid," he said.
