Amazon will begin distributing payouts by September after reviewing user claims from its $2.5 billion Federal Trade Commission settlement.
The final submission window closes on July 27.

The upcoming deadline concludes a 180-day submission period for the second phase of compensation. This follows automatic payments distributed between November 12 and December 24, 2025.
Approved claimants can receive up to $51 depending on the total amount of Amazon Prime membership fees paid during their enrollment.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility is limited to consumers who registered for Prime between June 23, 2019, and June 23, 2025.
They must have used their membership benefits 10 or fewer times over any 12-month period.
Additionally, individuals must have encountered unsuccessful attempts to cancel or joined via specific web pages defined as a challenged enrollment flow.

The Court Order stated these include the "Universal Prime Decision Page, the Shipping Option Select Page, Prime Video enrollment flow, or the Single Page Checkout."
The underlying antitrust lawsuit, initiated in 2023, alleged that the e-commerce giant manipulated users into automatically renewing subscriptions and hindered cancellation procedures.
While resolving the case through the agreement in September 2025, the company maintained its innocence regarding deceptive practices.
"Make it clear and simple for customers," said an Amazon corporate spokesperson.
Qualified individuals who received notifications via email or mail can submit their claims online through the settlement portal or via email.

The platform has 30 days to review each application once submitted before issuing the final approved payments.
