Lieke Klaver finished fourth in the women's 400-meter sprint with a time of 49.97 seconds, breaking the 50-second barrier for the first time in two years.

The 400-meter race was won by Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic, who set a world-leading seasonal time and a Diamond League record of 48.48 seconds.
