"So it was actually really nice to play in an atmosphere which felt like it was heavily supportive of me."

Dart later dismissed assertions regarding unique psychological pressures faced by local competitors performing in front of their home crowd.

"It's not just being a British player out there," said Dart. "I think every player has pressure, regardless of the situation.

And no matter how many times you do it, someone's always feeling the pressure. It's just how people handle it, and some people handle it better than others."

Dart expressed gratitude for the opportunity to perform on a premier court, viewing the experience as a developmental milestone for her career.
