The Phoenix Suns have reached an agreement with free agent guard Luke Kennard on a two-year, $13 million contract, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
The deal includes a player option for the second season.

Kennard, a nine-year NBA veteran, led the league in 3-point shooting during the 2025-26 season, hitting 47.8% from beyond the arc.
This marks the third time in his career he has achieved that distinction.
Last season, Kennard split time between the Atlanta Hawks and the Los Angeles Lakers.
In 10 postseason games with the Lakers, he averaged 11.5 points and shot 47.4% from 3-point range.
The signing adds perimeter shooting to a reshaped Phoenix roster that recently traded away Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale to the Charlotte Hornets.

The Suns also acquired forward Miles Bridges earlier in the offseason.
The Lakers had significant interest in retaining Kennard, but he ultimately chose Phoenix.
The Athletic's Sam Amick and Dan Woike reported that the Lakers were among several teams pursuing the sharpshooter.
With Kennard's addition, the Suns have filled their standard 15-man roster. The projected payroll now stands at approximately $214.9 million.
The signing cannot become official until July 6 at 9:00 a. m.
