The standard model is projected to start around 100 million won ($65,000), while the top-spec variant could exceed 200 million won ($130,000).
In the US, market entry prices for the base model are expected to hover around $100,000 as Genesis targets the premium luxury segment.
"We are preparing the Genesis GV90 launch schedule with the goal of unveiling it on September 9," said an anonymous high-ranking Hyundai Motor Group official quoted by AsiaToday.
The official noted that internal coordination is underway to finalize the timeline, which may coincide with the completion ceremony of the Ulsan facility.
"The final schedule is currently being adjusted internally," added the official.

Hyundai Motor Group is evaluating whether to combine the grand opening of the Ulsan factory, which has an annual capacity of 200,000 EVs, with the GV90 launch event.
