The Philadelphia 76ers are expected to pursue unrestricted free agent forward John Collins when negotiations open this week, according to reports from The Stein Line and HoopsHype.
Collins averaged 13.6 points and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 40.6 percent from three-point range last season for the Los Angeles Clippers.

The 28-year-old forward could command Philadelphia's entire $15 million non-taxpayer mid-level exception.
Such a commitment would restrict the 76ers' ability to retain current free agents Kelly Oubre Jr. and Quentin Grimes, forcing the team to rely on veteran minimum contracts.
The San Antonio Spurs and Orlando Magic are also expected to show interest in Collins.
Philadelphia has maintained full financial flexibility by holding off on early contract agreements or team options as free agency approaches.
Roster Depth Priority
General Manager Mike Gansey said the team needs help at every position after their top-heavy lineup struggled with exhaustion during the postseason.

"Obviously, we have the Big 4, but we need guys outside of them," Gansey said.
The 76ers are also exploring secondary frontcourt options, including forward Sandro Mamukelashvili from the Toronto Raptors and reserve center Jock Landale from the Memphis Grizzlies.
Orlando's interest in Collins comes alongside internal changes, including hiring Sean Sweeney as head coach and waiving Jonathan Isaac to create roster flexibility.
Magic President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman said the team has been plotting scenarios to address shooting deficiencies.
