SGT Automobili has revealed the 55 SGT, a reimagined version of Alfa Romeo's iconic 155 DTM racer from the 1990s.
The car is not a restomod but a modern build using a current Giulia Quadrifoglio as its base.

Under the carbon fiber body lies a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Stradale variant produces up to 612 hp, while the Trofeo version boosts output to 740 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.
Like the original race-winning 155, the 55 SGT features all-wheel drive.
Drivers can adjust torque distribution or activate a drift mode that sends power to the rear wheels only.
SGT says the reinforced structure offers 25 percent greater torsional rigidity than the donor Giulia. Extensive use of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and carbotitanium helps keep weight down.
The Stradale weighs 1,590 kg, while the Trofeo sheds 100 kg to reach 1,490 kg.

F1-Style Aero and Track Focus
The Trofeo adds carbon fiber wishbones, a four-wheel lift kit for quick tire changes, uprated brakes, and an aero package generating up to 460 kg of downforce.
It also includes an F1-style DRS system.
The cabin removes the rear seats in favor of a roll bar. Bucket seats and race-inspired switchgear on a carbon console create a DTM atmosphere with added luxury.
Only 55 units will be built. The first 10 form an Opening Edition reserved for selected customers.
Each car can be customized as a one-off.
Pricing is not officially listed, but the conversion costs around €500,000 ($570,000) plus a donor Giulia Quadrifoglio.
