The CT5 sedan recorded 4,311 units sold in Q2, outperforming several of Cadillac's electric and gas-powered crossovers.

It beat the Lyriq (4,208), Optiq (4,236), Vistiq (2,001), and Escalade IQ (1,771).

The CT5 also came close to the aging XT5, which sold 5,764 units.

Meanwhile, the entry-level CT4 saw a 9.4% sales increase to 1,564 units, and its year-to-date sales rose 17.7%.

Those two crossovers generated 8,869 sales in Q2 2025, but their absence contributed to the brand's overall decline.

On the electric side, GM called Cadillac "America's luxury EV leader," noting the brand achieved its best-ever EV sales in Q2.

The Optiq and Vistiq posted gains, but the Lyriq fell 16.1% and the Escalade IQ dropped 2.2%.

The gas-powered Escalade also declined, with sales down 5.9% to 10,999 units. Year-to-date, Escalade sales are off 17.7%.

Cadillac's V-Series performance was a bright spot, achieving its best quarter and best first half ever, likely boosted by new additions like the Optiq-V and Lyriq-V.

However, the CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing have been discontinued.
