The Philadelphia 76ers agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent swingman Rayan Rupert on a one-year two-way contract on Friday.
The move fills the team's first open two-way slot of the offseason.

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the 22-year-old French guard-forward became an unrestricted free agent earlier this week after the Memphis Grizzlies declined to extend a two-way qualifying offer.
Rupert has three years of NBA experience, appearing in 155 total games with 20 starts for the Portland Trail Blazers and Memphis Grizzlies.
He averages 4.1 points and 2.3 rebounds in 14.0 minutes per game.
The 6-foot-7 player was originally selected 43rd overall in the second round of the 2023 NBA Draft by Portland.
He played 139 games there before being waived during the 2025/26 season.
After his release, Rupert joined an injury-plagued Memphis team late last season.
He started eight of his 16 appearances, averaging 12.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.6 steals in 30.9 minutes per game.

His stint with the Grizzlies included a 14-point performance on 6-of-9 shooting during a March loss against the 76ers.
However, he struggled with efficiency and averaged four personal fouls per contest.
The Philadelphia Inquirer confirmed the signing on Friday morning.
The 76ers have found recent success with two-way development, promoting Dominick Barlow, Jabari Walker, and Dalen Terry to standard rosters last season.
Rupert, whose wingspan measures 7-foot-3, previously played professional basketball in France and for the New Zealand Breakers before entering the NBA.
The defensive-minded wing comes from an athletic family.
His father Thierry played for the French national team, and his sister Iliana currently plays for the WNBA's Golden State Valkyries.

Philadelphia still retains flexibility for its remaining roster spots. The team has two open two-way contract openings left to fill alongside Rupert for the upcoming season.
