The Philadelphia 76ers have signed French wing Rayan Rupert to a one-year two-way NBA contract, according to ESPN reports on Friday, July 3, 2026.

The 22-year-old unrestricted free agent became available after the Memphis Grizzlies declined to extend a qualifying offer, as reported by Shams Charania and Noah Levick.

Rupert, who stands 6-foot-7 with a 7-foot-3 wingspan, has appeared in 155 career NBA games, splitting time between the Portland Trail Blazers and Memphis.

His career averages stand at 4.1 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.

However, he flourished during a late-season 16-game stretch with the shorthanded Grizzlies, posting 12.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.

The signing is the first two-way contract executed under Mike Gansey since he became president of basketball operations for Philadelphia.
