"I try to be as authentic as I can. I believe in being genuine.
I believe in my values. This exposure, I guess, or this platform that I have has really allowed me to self-reflect.
It allows me to become the best version of myself, because I know that a lot of people look up to me," Eala added.
She will next compete against 2024 finalist Jasmine Paolini in the fourth round on Monday.
"Then again, I think the main message here is that I don't want them to look at me and say, 'I want to be the next Alex Eala.'
I want them to look at me and say, 'Wow, I want to be the first me. I want to make my own path,'" Eala concluded.
Simultaneously, British wild card Arthur Fery secured a fourth-round position by defeating Zizou Bergs in a four-hour and 38-minute match on Court 18, overcoming persistent nosebleeds that required medical attention three times.
"I was just trying to back my fighting spirit," said Fery, who became the first British wild card to reach the Wimbledon fourth round since 1993.
Fery fought back from being 4-1 down in both the fourth and fifth sets to win 2-6, 7-5, 2-6, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (10/5).
