"He is in the biggest semi-final in tennis," Ivanisevic said.

Ivanisevic emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive mindset amid intense national attention.

"He just has to keep enjoying it. Once you stop enjoying, that is not good.

He is in the perfect position with the whole country behind him," he said.

The retired Croatian player added his assessment of Fery's long-term potential in the sport.

"He is a great player with a bright future. So enjoy it, take the crowd and just play good tennis," Ivanisevic said.

BBC commentator Andrew Cotter highlighted Fery's strong connection to the local tournament venue.

"The man who grew up so close to Centre Court now seems to own it," Cotter said.

Seven-time Grand Slam singles champion John McEnroe observed that the young British competitor remained unfazed by the pressure of the tournament.

"For someone that, totally unexpectedly, has made it this far, the moment hasn't seemed to overwhelm him in any matches," McEnroe said.

McEnroe stated that the pressure appeared to affect Fery's higher-ranked Italian opponent far more during their quarterfinal match.

"For Cobolli, just to give in that way tells you something about the level he was playing at.
