Motorcycle Mode and Personalized Navigation
The new motorcycle mode understands that bikes can easily navigate narrow streets but are more sensitive to road imperfections.
When selected, it finds the best route for riders and highlights hazards that cars don't need to worry about.
Waze says this is possible thanks to real-time traffic information and a dedicated group of motorcycle map editors who identify new hazards.
The mode launches in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, and the Philippines, with more countries to follow.
Personalized navigation suggests routes based on your previous trips. For example, if you often take highways instead of city streets, those routes will appear first.
Users can easily choose alternate routes or turn off personalization. The feature is rolling out globally now.

Less Chatty Mode and AI Updates
A new less chatty mode minimizes interruptions and keeps updates short, but still delivers critical reminders about hazards, turns, and lane changes.
It's designed for drivers who prefer to focus on music rather than directions.
Waze is also making hazard reporting easier with Conversational Reporting.
If you encounter a road closure, you can say “The road is closed here,” and the app sends relevant information to local map editors for verification.
Additionally, Gemini integration allows users to ask questions like “Find me a coffee shop that's open right now” or “Find me parking close to Grand Mall.”
