Executive producer Jacquelyn Ben-Zekry confirmed that the overall plot for the second season establishes the storyline for the third chapter.
"When we were designing Season 2 and pitching it, we actually did Season 3 kind of at the same time, because we imagined it as a trilogy.
We really wanted to do the beginning, middle, and end of a story. So, you'll see when you see this season.
It's definitely set up for more," said Ben-Zekry.

Returning ensemble cast members for the second season include Alice Braga as Amanda Lucas, Jimmi Simpson as Ryan Holder, Dayo Okeniyi as Leighton Vance, Amanda Brugel as Blaire Caplan, and Zoë Soul as Denise.
