Mercedes-AMG's track-focused CLE 63 Mythos has been caught testing again, this time revealing production-ready components.
The prototype, spotted at the Nürburgring, shows a new front bumper with more organic lower air intakes and upper aero ducts beside the LED headlights.

Design Details and Aero Upgrades
The front fenders feature saw-tooth vents, similar to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, to release high-pressure air from the wheel housings.
At the rear, riveted-on fender flares are present, likely to be replaced by one-piece panels for production.
AMG's signature square tailpipes are now stacked diagonally, echoing the layout of the Lexus IS-F or Aston Martin DB12 S.
The rear spoiler has larger end plates, a center section with adjustable angle, and skeleton-style metal stanchions.
The overall look draws comparisons to the legendary Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series, a promising direction for the model.

Powertrain: Flat-Plane V8
Under the hood sits an AMG-modified version of the new flat-plane crank twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, first seen in the Mercedes S-Class.
Output is rumored to be around 637-646 hp, a significant jump over the six-cylinder CLE 53.
This V8 could be crucial for AMG after the lukewarm reception of the four-cylinder hybrid C63 S E Performance.
Reports suggest Mercedes plans to reintroduce V8 power to the next-generation C63, and the Mythos may debut the engine before it spreads to other 63-badged models.

The timing is notable: AMG recently launched an electric GT 4-Door that simulates V8 sounds through speakers, while this coupe will deliver the real acoustic experience.
