Former NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony offered professional guidance to the incoming rookie regarding the immense public scrutiny and emotional challenges of being selected first overall.
“You don’t know what’s about to come. That’s my advice,” said Anthony, host of the 7PM in Brooklyn Podcast.
Anthony, who entered the league as a highly touted freshman wing scorer out of Syracuse, noted that the transition introduces unprecedented stress.
