The Boston Bruins acquired forward Ivan Ivan from the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday in exchange for forward Fabian Lysell, according to official team announcements.
Ivan, 23, split last season between the NHL and AHL.

He recorded one assist in nine games for the Avalanche and posted 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points in 66 games with the AHL's Colorado Eagles.
The Czechia native also ranked second on the Eagles in playoff scoring during the 2026 Calder Cup Playoffs, with three goals and 12 assists for 15 points in 17 postseason contests.
In his NHL career, Ivan has played 49 games, all with Colorado, totaling five goals and four assists.
He originally signed with the Avalanche in March 2024 after representing Czechia at the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championships.

Lysell, also 23, moves to Colorado after failing to secure a full-time role in Boston.
The Bruins selected the Swedish winger with the 21st overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
He spent the entire 2025-26 season in the AHL with the Providence Bruins, recording 17 goals and 25 assists for 42 points in 57 games.
Lysell made his NHL debut during the 2024-25 season, skating in 12 career games for Boston and notching one goal and two assists.

He did not appear for the NHL club this past season.
