She added that she was "ready for another challenge" and "something new and a bit scary because I quite like that feeling."
Cox emphasized that navigating unfamiliar formats keeps both the presenter and content dynamic. "It keeps you interested and interesting," she said.
The upcoming morning program will introduce a revised format incorporating popular segments from her previous broadcast. A key difference is the inclusion of celebrity guests.
"The big difference is that we didn't have a single celebrity on teatime. The stars were always the regular listeners calling in," Cox said.
She confirmed regular callers will remain, alongside high-profile guests starting with actor Tom Hanks.
"So I am going to take them with me to breakfast, but we'll have a bit of Hollywood too."
When questioned about the circumstances surrounding her predecessor Scott Mills, Cox stated she possessed no additional information.
