The administrative shift aims to hand over day-to-day operations to professional staff under the Cairo-based National Committee for the Administration of Gaza, chaired by engineer Ali Shaath.

During a news conference at Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, Ismail al-Thawabta, general director of the Hamas-run Government Media Office, outlined the status of civil servants under the new arrangement.

"All employees working in service provision are 'state employees' and are fully prepared to work under the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza," said al-Thawabta.

The announcement represents an administrative step toward fulfilling the broader regional peace framework, according to statements from organizational representatives.

"A positive step forward on the path to implement the ceasefire deal," said Hazem Qassem, a Hamas spokesperson.
