Donovan made a strong impression during his full debut in January, helping secure a 2-0 FA Cup victory against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
Brentford fan Ian Westbrook told the BBC that the teenager's performance showcased both his offensive flair and defensive work ethic.

"Donovan took his chance on Saturday with both hands.
He led the inexperienced Owls defence a merry dance and was brought down for our penalty - but also did not neglect his defensive duties, tracking back to make a crucial tackle early on," Westbrook said.
The supporter expressed optimism about Donovan's future, saying, "If he carries on like this, we have a real star in the making on our hands."
Donovan previously reflected on his footballing journey, noting that he started playing at age seven and initially played as a centre-back before transitioning to an attacking role.
"I used to be a centre-back, I used to love dribbling out from the field.
I spent one season there, then I just got picked up by the Blues," he said.
Having made his Championship debut at just 16, Donovan said he thrives under pressure in front of large crowds.
"Since I was young, I loved pressure. I loved playing in front of people," he said.
