Three pedals are disappearing across the industry.

Several cars that offered stick shifts at the start of MY26 won't for 2027, including the VW Jetta GLI, Honda Civic Si, and Acura Integra A-Spec.

The Toyota Supra and BMW Z4 have already been discontinued.

Could the Blackwing Return?

There is a glimmer of hope.

GM is expected to revive the Camaro soon, reportedly using the same evolved Alpha 2 architecture planned for the next CT5 and a potential new Buick sedan.

GM has also developed a new generation of V8 engines.

If Chevrolet combines those elements with a manual transmission, Cadillac could have the hardware to preserve the Blackwing formula.

That's far from confirmation, but it's enough to keep enthusiasts optimistic.
