Distinct Aero Package
Our photographers caught a camouflaged prototype lapping the circuit.
The car wore a sharper splitter, canards, vented fenders, and a fixed rear wing.
That wing is smaller than the one on the GT3 racer but still prominent.
Differences from the standard GR GT are clear at a glance.
The track-only GR GT3 has side exhausts, Lexan windows, a reshaped hood, racing tires, and a redesigned tail.

None of these features appear on this prototype.
Toyota has not confirmed if these carbon-fiber parts will be an optional kit or a limited-run special.
Both possibilities remain open.
To rival models like the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and upcoming Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, Gazoo Racing may combine the aero with a sharper suspension.
A hotter version of the hybrid twin-turbo V8 is also possible, exceeding the current 641 hp (478 kW / 650 PS).
More details on the hardcore GR GT should emerge in the coming months.
