Lead actress Rhea Seehorn, who plays isolated novelist Carol Sturka, revealed on the Inside of You podcast that the production team has not yet set a filming date for the sophomore season.
"We don't know [when it begins filming]," Seehorn said. "They're in the writers' room right now.
No, I don't [know anything]. He [Gilligan] said I should sharpen my pantomime skills.
I'm kidding."
Seehorn explained that the creators wanted to refine their storytelling strategy rather than rushing the highly praised series.
"He said this publicly...
they went back to the writers room with all these thoughts… They basically just wanted to go back to square one," she said.
"But I mean I think that's why these shows are so rewarding. He would even say he wishes he could get it back on sooner!"
